Yes. The terms are often used interchangeably. However, an ACZM (ZooMed) Diplomat specializes in all non-traditional species, where the ABVP Diplomat focuses on specific groups namely, Avian Specialty, Exotic Companion Mammal Specialty, and Reptile and Amphibian Specialty.

VETAHEAD offers courses on zoological medicine (a.k.a. exotic animal medicine). Our courses are guided towards general practitioners, veterinarian students and para-veterinary professionals (veterinary assistants, nurses, technicians, and students), as well as related professionals. VETAHEAD works with world-class specialists to share their unique experience with the world.

Each course includes extensive pre-recorded video content, and course notes with exclusive state of the art medical illustrations. Everything to make your learning experience the best possible! The videos can be viewed at any time, and they can be paused, fast-forwarded, and re-watched as many times as you’d like.

You can certainly take notes if you learn better this way. However, each VETAHEAD instructor prepares a complete set of notes so you can focus on the courses without worrying about anything else. The pdf notes are always available and you can download it at any point! You can even use it to follow the course and make your own remarks.

Yes, they are integrated to the PDF notes. Our medical illustrators work very hard to produce exclusive VETAHEAD content to supplement our great courses.
