Christine Molter grew up in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for her undergraduate degrees in Zoology and Conservation.  She also earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.

She then completed a small animal rotating internship in Chicago, followed by a residency in Zoological Medicine at the University of California – Davis and San Diego Zoo Global.  Since 2015, she has been a staff veterinarian at the Houston Zoo.  She is a Diplomate of the American College of Zoological Medicine.  She enjoys hiking, birdwatching, and travel.
